IBG Monforts Gleitlagertechnik GmbH & Co. KG is today one of the market leaders for development, construction and manufacture of PTFE low friction bearings.

The desireable low friction properties of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) has been applied as early as about 40 years ago to construct modern bridge bearings. For this purpose, comprehensive research was preformed, in which we participated at an early stage.

Based on this knowledge, we have develoepd a complete, finely tuned by many applications variable range of low friction bearings (with or without approval) for most diverse industrial and marine applications.
